Kyra Mirante

Kyra (she/her) is a 200hr Vinyasa yoga teacher and massage therapist who has been practicing yoga for nearly fifteen years. Initially, her love of anatomy and kinesiology led her to styles of movement based in refining alignment and deepening the connections between distal body parts to create a more integrated whole. More recently, Kyra is drawn to the ancient contemplative aspects of yoga and believes that mindfulness and intentional breath are integral to a complete yoga practice. As an instructor, her aim is to give her students a balanced flow that challenges the muscles and mind while creating a space for reflection, attunement, and community.

Kyra's experience working with massage clients has led to her quest for the most up to date and evidence-based strategies for pain relief. On this journey, she has learned that slow breath & joyful movement are key to reducing physical and emotional suffering. Kyra's yoga teaching serves as a complement to her bodywork, promoting self-efficacy and optimism in her students' own inherent capabilities.
